Ste Croix de Quintillargues

The XIIc church of Ste Croix de Quintillargues stands right on the main road through the village. It is built of pale stone typical of this part of Hérault. The upper metre or so of the building is built of less well-finished stone under a pantile roof and appears to have been added at a later date. On two opposite corners of the roof are circular "turrets", one roofed and one open. These are supported by crude stone and oaken butresses. Their purpose is unknown. The main body of the church terminates in a circular apse, again roofed with pantiles.

The church is normally kept locked.
