Family - Cordulegastridae (Golden-ringed Dragonflies)

Family summary

There is only one genus of Cordulegastridae found in Europe and just two species are found in France. These large Dragonflies are black with bright yellow rings round the abdomen. They are usually found flying over small, clean streams.
