Family - Gomphidae (Clubtails)

Family summary

The gomphidae or Clubtails are distinctive from all other Dragonflies in that their eyes do not touch on the top of the head. The name "Clubtail" comes from the more or less expanded tip of the abdomen. France has about seven species in two genera.
